Aleksandar Mitrovic will complete a move to Newcastle United in the near future, according to the player's agent.
The Anderlecht forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Magpies, who have reportedly agreed a fee in the region of £12m to sign the 20-year-old from the Belgian side.
Mitrovic's agent Pini Zahavi is quoted as saying by The Chronicle: "The formalisation of the transfer will be made in the coming hours.
"Mitrovic and will sign a contract for five seasons for the former club of Philippe Albert."
Newcastle boss Steve McClaren also confirmed that the club are on the brink of signing midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum from PSV Eindhoven.
