Newcastle United striker Demba Ba has admitted that he is 'annoyed' by speculation linking him with a move away from the club.
The Senegal international, who has scored 16 Premier League goals for the Magpies this season, is thought to have a £7m buyout clause in his contract at the Sports Direct Arena.
"I don't know how people talk about the clause. Only me and my agent know," he told The Mirror. "I don't know why people are talking about my future.
"It annoys me. It has been speculated about a lot. I was in Africa with Senegal and my roommate looked on the internet and said, 'Look, you are leaving Newcastle!' I started laughing."
Ba should feature for Newcastle in Sunday's Tyne-Wear derby against Sunderland.
