Stuart Pearce to let Guy Moussi and Marcus Tudgay leave Nottingham Forest

Incoming Nottingham Forest manager Stuart Pearce tells midfielder Guy Moussi and striker Marcus Tudgay that their City Ground contracts will not be renewed this summer.

Incoming Nottingham Forest manager Stuart Pearce has begun shaping his squad for next season by telling Guy Moussi and Marcus Tudgay that they can leave.

Pearce does not take official charge at the City Ground until July 1, but has already informed several players that their contracts will not be renewed, according to Sky Sports News.

Experienced striker Tudgay, who scored 14 goals in 68 Forest appearances, spent most of this campaign out on loan and only featured three times for the Tricky Trees in the Championship.

Moussi quickly emerged as a crowd favourite after joining from French outfit Angers in 2008 but has struggled with injuries in recent years, only making 19 starts over the past two seasons.

Gonzalo Jara, Simon Gillett and Ishmael Miller will also be allowed to move, while Pearce is still deliberating over the future of Matt Derbyshire, who closed the campaign with five goals in five games.
