Laurent Blanc plays down Paris Saint-Germain Champions League chances

Laurent Blanc claims it is took early to talk about Paris Saint-Germain's chances of winning the Champions League.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has played down his side's chances of winning the Champions League this season.

The French side have won every game in Europe so far, including a 5-0 win against Anderlecht on Wednesday.

Their manager though has insisted that it is too early to talk about their chances of winning the competition.

"This competition is very hard to win," Blanc told UEFA.com. "It is certainly the best competition, but it is very difficult.

"We must go stage by stage. The first step is to advance to the knockout round. After that the draw is important so we should not look to far ahead."

PSG take on Saint-Etienne in Ligue 1 tomorrow.
