How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Lyon

Sports Mole takes a look at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up in Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with Lyon.

Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to move onto 59 points in Ligue 1 when they travel to third-placed Lyon on Sunday night.

Thomas Tuchel's team have won 18 and drawn two of their 20 league matches this season to open up a 13-point advantage over second-placed Lille.

Meanwhile, Lyon are 16 points off PSG entering their mouthwatering clash this weekend.

The reigning French champions recorded a 4-1 victory over Rennes last weekend, while Lyon were 1-0 winners at Amiens to make it six league fixtures unbeaten.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at how PSG could line up on Sunday night.

Out: Neymar (foot), Lassana Diarra (knee), Marco Verratti (ankle)

PSG will again be without the services of both Lassana Diarra and Marco Verratti through knee and ankle injuries respectively, while Neymar is, of course, still on the sidelines with a foot injury.

The French champions had attempted to sign Idrissa Gueye from Everton in the latter stages of the January transfer window, but they were unsuccessful and as a result are still very light in central midfield.

Dani Alves and Marquinhos are expected to play in midfield once again, leaving Thilo Kehrer at right-back, although Thomas Meunier is also an option for Tuchel.

Further forward, Julian Draxler and Angel di Maria should both earn starting roles, supporting Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe, who are both in excellent form.

Christopher Nkunku was strongly linked with a move to Arsenal during the January window, but the Frenchman stayed in Paris and is expected to make the bench this weekend.
