Edinson Cavani could reportedly be on his way out of Paris Saint-Germain, with Boca Juniors sporting director Jorge Bermudez believing a deal for the striker is 'very close'.
Cavani has been with the Parisian club for seven years after joining from Italian side Napoli in 2013.
The Uruguayan was previously linked with a move to Atletico Madrid in January, however a move to Spain failed to materialise for the 33-year-old.
Cavani is out of contract in June and is now considering the option of moving back to South America, linking up with the Argentine giants in Buenos Aires.
"He [Cavani] would give us a great hand and be very supportive. I think he wants to come to Boca," Bermudez told Chilean outlet Radio Cooperativa.
"If he comes it is for a real desire and the signs are clear."
Cavani, who is PSG's all-time leading goalscorer, has notched up 200 goals in 301 appearances for the French side, with seven of those coming this campaign.
