Half-Time Report: Queens Park Rangers leading Burnley

Queens Park Rangers lead Burnley 2-1 at half time in today's early Championship kickoff at Loftus Road.

Queens Park Rangers are currently leading Burnley 2-1 at half time in today's early Championship kickoff at Loftus Road.

QPR had to deal with an injury as early as the third minute, with Matty Phillips needing treatment for an ankle complaint. Junior Hoilett came on for him just a few minutes later.

The first goal came in the seventh minute, as debutant Kevin Doyle was able to flick Nico Kranjcar's corner past Clarets keeper Thomas Heaton.

However, the away side pulled a goal back midway through the first half, courtesy of a volley from Danny Ings.

Harry Redknapp's team took the lead for the second time in the half with just over 10 minutes to go, as veteran defender Richard Dunne fired a left-footed shot into the top corner.
