Former Queens Park Rangers defender Jose Bosingwa has hit back at Harry Redknapp following the manager's claims that his attitude was "disgraceful".
The 66-year-old has written in his autobiography that Bosingwa refused to sit on the substitutes' bench against Fulham last season.
The former Tottenham Hotspur boss also stated that the 31-year-old, who now plays for Trabzonspor, was earning a "ridiculous" salary at Loftus Road.
"I never forced anyone to give me that salary at QPR," A Bola quotes Bosingwa as saying. "How can Redknapp do technical analysis on players if he spends his time negotiating with agents?
"He thinks he is like [Sir Alex] Ferguson, but there is a difference - in his long career, he has only won one title.
"He doesn't seem to know what he says. It's confusing. It must be his age or the wine he drinks every morning."
Meanwhile, England manager Roy Hodgson has insisted that he does not feel offended after Redknapp accused the Football Association of being 'clueless' in their hunt for an England boss.
