England Under-21 international Tom Carroll has emerged as a doubt for Queens Park Rangers' Championship clash with Millwall this weekend.
The 21-year-old, who joined the R's on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, has made four appearances in England's second tier this season.
However, he was forced off on Tuesday night with an ankle injury while representing his country in their 5-0 win over Lithuania.
He tweeted: "Gutted to have come off early, hopefully it's not too bad! £fatankle."
Carroll has been earmarked for a future first-team role with Spurs.
