Jermaine Jenas vows to stand by Queens Park Rangers, even if the club are relegated to the Championship.

Jermaine Jenas has insisted that he would like to remain a Queens Park Rangers player next season, regardless of what division the team are playing in.

Several reports have claimed that the R's would look to move a number of their players out in the summer if they fail to retain their status as a Premier League club.

However, Jenas, who joined the club from Tottenham Hotspur in January, has admitted that he would like to stay at Loftus Road.

"Everybody wants to be in the Premier League, but I am very happy at QPR," the London Evening Standard quotes him as saying.

"The club and fans have taken to me very well and we will cross that bridge if we come to it, but I would love to stay.

"Everyone at the club has accepted me, taken me after I was not in a great place in my career. QPR probably took a chance on me and it would be very harsh for me to go anywhere else."

QPR are seven points from safety with six matches left to play.
