Queens Park Rangers are said to be planning a move to sign Portugal international Manuel Fernandes.
The 26-year-old midfielder is available on a free transfer after leaving Turkish side Besiktas following a dispute over unpaid wages.
Mark Hughes is well aware of Fernandes's Premier League pedigree - following the player's loan spells at Portsmouth and Everton - and the Rangers boss is hopeful of bringing him to Loftus Road this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Sunderland are also reported to be interested in the player.
