Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland has been ruled out of Thursday's Europa League playoff second-leg tie against Rangers with a groin injury.
The 21-year-old has missed the last four games due to injury but he was able to take part in full training sessions over the last few days.
However, Haaland did not travel with the Dortmund squad to Glasgow on Wednesday morning and will remain in Germany to continue his recovery.
BVB full-back Thomas Meunier was initially doubtful with a muscle problem, but the Belgium international boarded the plane with his teammates and he is in contention to feature on Thursday.
Marco Rose's men currently trail 4-2 from the first leg, after the Scottish Premiership champions stunned the Germans at Westfalenstadion last week.
The absence of Haaland – who has scored 23 goals in just 20 matches for Dortmund this season – will likely see Donyell Malen continue as the central striker at Ibrox, with Marco Reus and Julian Brandt providing support in attack from advanced midfield positions.
