Reading striker Jason Roberts again refuses to wear a T-shirt in support of anti-racism campaign 'Kick It Out'.

Reading striker Jason Roberts has revealed that he will not wear a T-shirt supporting anti-racism group 'Kick It Out' for the second week running.

Roberts, alongside other black football players including Rio Ferdinand, boycotted the awareness campaign last weekend by refusing to wear the group's T-shirt and the 34-year-old has insisted that the football authorities need "to do better" to clamp down on racism.

When asked whether we would wear the T-shirt at the weekend, Roberts said: "No, I won't. That's my own choice.

"If it was a T-shirt from another organisation, I wouldn't have worn that either.

"This is not an attack on 'Kick It Out'. I am passionate about the PFA and 'Kick It Out' but they have to do better, we have to do better."

Racism in football has been a much talked-about topic in recent weeks, with Chelsea defender John Terry receiving a four-match ban for using racist language towards Anton Ferdinand and England Under-21 player Danny Rose appearing to be subjected to racist taunts during England's European Championship qualifier last week.
