How Real Madrid could line up against Eibar

Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Saturday's La Liga clash with Eibar.

Real Madrid will be looking to bounce back from Wednesday's 2-1 loss at Valencia when they welcome Eibar to the Bernabeu on Saturday afternoon.

The defeat at the Mestalla has left Los Blancos five points off second-placed Atletico Madrid, while they are now 13 points off La Liga leaders Barcelona.

Zinedine Zidane started his second spell in charge of Madrid with back-to-back victories over Celta Vigo and Huesca, but the team's problems were once again shown on Wednesday night.

Huge changes are expected this summer following a disappointing season, but for now, Madrid will be focusing on returning to winning ways against Eibar on Saturday afternoon.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Los Blancos could line up against the Basque side.

POSS RM XI vs. EIB

Out: Marcelo (suspension), Vinicius Junior (knee), Dani Carvajal (muscle)
Doubtful: Thibaut Courtois (knock)

Madrid will once again be without the services of Vinicius Junior and Dani Carvajal through injury, but Thibaut Courtois, who has hardly trained over the last week, could return having not yet featured under Zidane.

Marcelo is suspended, meanwhile, meaning that Sergio Reguilon should feature at left-back, with the Spaniard having limited opportunities since Santiago Solari left the club.

Isco and Gareth Bale both came off the bench in the defeat to Valencia and could start, while Dani Ceballos might be handed a spot in central midfield as Zidane prepares to shuffle his pack.

Karim Benzema will continue in the final third, though, and the Frenchman is one of few Madrid players who can hold their head high this season, having scored 24 times in all competitions.

Nacho, meanwhile, is available once again having missed the defeat at the Mestalla through suspension.
