Wales manager Chris Coleman has insisted that Gareth Bale is more than capable of becoming his nation's leading goalscorer.
The Real Madrid star has found the back of the net 16 times in 46 appearances for Wales.
Bale will need to overtake Ian Rush's record of 28 goals in 73 games in order to become Wales' top scorer.
"Gareth's young enough," Coleman told reporters. "He's going to play enough games to surpass that."
Earlier this week, Bale was named the Welsh Footballer of the Year for the fourth time.
