Vicente del Bosque: 'Rafael Benitez one of the best'

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque calls Napoli manager Rafael Benitez 'one of the best coaches in the game'.

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has said that he believes Rafael Benitez would be a good match for Real Madrid.

Benitez, who is currently in charge of Napoli, is the favourite to take control at the Bernabeu after Carlo Ancelotti was sacked on Monday.

Del Bosque stopped short of saying that Benitez was "the right man" for the Spanish outfit, but has called the former Valencia manager "one of the best".

"It's not my decision to say whether Rafa Benitez is the right man to coach Real Madrid, but he's one of the best," Del Bosque told reporters at a press conference.

Del Bosque has also managed Real Madrid on three separate occasions.
