Toni Kroos praises Cristiano Ronaldo

Toni Kroos hopes that Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo continues his current run of scoring form.

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has praised Cristiano Ronaldo following a record-breaking weekend for the Portuguese.

Ronaldo netted his 23rd La Liga hat-trick on Saturday evening as Los Blancos made it 18 wins in a row with a 3-0 success over Celta Vigo at the Bernabeu.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is a really important player. He put in a very good match and was decisive once again. He's always a key player and I hope he keeps it up," Kroos told his club's official website.

Ronaldo has scored 23 league goals in just 13 games this season.
