Sought-after Brazilian striker Neymar has told potential suitors that he is staying at Santos.

Many of European football's biggest clubs, including Real Madrid and Barcelona, had reportedly expressed an interest in the highly-rated forward, but he insists that he is staying in his homeland.

"I am happy here and I have no reason to leave. To be happy is what is important," said Neymar.

The Brazilian international, who won the Copa Libertadores with Santos earlier this year, has a contract with the club until 2015.
