Villarreal attacker Jonathan Pereira is confident that the Yellow Submarine can overcome Real Madrid on Saturday.
The newly-promoted side will enter the match full of confidence having taken nine points from their three matches on their return to Spain's top flight.
"We go into the game with a clear idea of our play, in a good run of form and this can give us our chance. They are not yet playing their best, they are not fine in everything, despite having also won three games," Pereira told reporters at a press conference.
"Madrid are not playing brilliantly, but in any play you make a mistake they will punish and it is difficult to fight against them. They are Madrid and any player can win the game for them and that is always dangerous. Our intention is to continue our form, these nine points give us respite and more strength to face a game as complicated as this one, in which we know it will be difficult to win.
"Having nine points already gives us the tranquility and therefore we can face the game in confidence. We are eager to continue our pace and the good moment that the team is enjoying, even as we know that facing Madrid won't be easy. But we continue with the idea of growing and with the hope of winning a game like this."
Pereira, 26, joined Villarreal from Real Betis in January.
