Crystal Palace are interested in signing on-loan Roma forward Borja Mayoral, according to a report.
The 24-year-old is contracted to Real Madrid, but he is spending a second season in a row with the Italian outfit, where he has been since October.
During the 2020-21 campaign the striker finished as Roma's top goalscorer, finding the back of the net 17 times, but this time around Mayoral is struggling to get into the team.
The Spaniard has only made four appearances in Serie A, although he did get on the scoresheet recently in a Europa Conference League match against CSKA Sofia.
According to a report by La Nazione, Crystal Palace are interested in signing him, and talks have begun over a £13m deal to bring him to the Premier League.
This would lead to his loan spell with Roma being cut short in order to make the transfer take place, which could allow him to be part of the Eagles squad in January.
Patrick Vieira's team are 11th in the table right now, with just two points separating them and the top half.
