Gareth Bale and Zinedine Zidane will reportedly hold a meeting next week to discuss the Welshman's future at Real Madrid.
The 29-year-old suffered another lukewarm and injury-hit 2018-19 campaign at the Bernabeu, during which Los Blancos sacked managers Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari.
Madrid are determined to move Bale along this summer but have had no offers for the player, who earns around £15m a year and whose contract expires in 2022.
According to Marca, Zidane will meet the winger on Monday for showdown talks over his future at the club.
Despite his poor relationship with the club's supporters, Bale has made it clear that he wants to remain in Madrid this summer.
Zidane, who returned to the club in March, does not view Bale as a starting player and wants to hand more opportunities to youngsters Vinicius Junior and Marco Asensio next season.
