Roma and Napoli emerge as suitors for Real Madrid defender Nacho ahead of this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Roma and Napoli are reportedly both interested in signing Real Madrid defender Nacho this summer.

The 30-year-old came through the youth system at the Bernabeu and has made 199 first-team appearances for the capital giants in all competitions.

The Spain international featured on 72 occasions for Los Blancos between the start of the 2017-18 season and end of the 2018-19 campaign but has found it difficult to secure regular minutes this term.

Indeed, the versatile defender has appeared just five times in La Liga and has only been involved in one of his side's last five league fixtures.

According to Mundo Deportivo, both Roma and Napoli are considering moves in this summer's transfer window as the Spaniard could be available for as little as €15m (£12.7m).

Nacho's current deal with Zinedine Zidane's side, who thumped Osasuna 4-1 in La Liga on Sunday afternoon, will run until June 2022.
