Paris Saint-Germain's sporting director Leonardo has confirmed that talks are underway regarding new contracts for Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
The attacking duo - both currently sidelined through injury - will see their contracts at the Parc des Princes expire in 2022 and have been linked with moves away over the past few months.
Indeed, Neymar was tipped to complete a sensational switch back to Barcelona, which ultimately did not materialise, while Mbappe has reportedly been identified by Real Madrid as one of their top targets for 2021.
However, Leonardo has now revealed that the club have begun negotiations with both players over renewals, and PSG are also looking to tie Angel Di Maria down to a new contract, with the Argentine set to become a free agent next summer.
Speaking to supporters during a live Q&A session, Leonardo said: "We've started negotiations with Neymar, Mbappe and Di Maria to extend their contracts.
"Remember that PSG suffered financial losses this year, we're in a complicated moment, it's not easy... but we're talking directly with Mbappe and Neymar."
Neymar and Mbappe boast nine goals and eight assists between them in the 2020-21 Ligue 1 campaign, with PSG currently leading the way at the top of the table.
