Vinicius Junior was the only Real Madrid player that Paris Saint-Germain were willing to accept in a swap deal for Kylian Mbappe, according to a report.
The Spanish side pursued Mbappe in the last few weeks of the summer transfer window, but Mauricio Pochettino did not want to sell the forward.
PSG rejected Real Madrid's €170m (£145.8m) bid for Mbappe on the penultimate day of the window, while Los Blancos also considered offering players as part of a swap deal.
However, Fabrizio Romano has stated that the only player that PSG would have accepted in such an agreement would have been Vinicius.
The Italian journalist added that Real Madrid did not even consider this option as they were not willing to let the Brazilian leave.
Vinicius has four goals in four La Liga appearances so far in 2021-22, which is already his best tally for a season in a Real Madrid shirt.
