RB Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick has denied reports suggesting that striker Timo Werner will sign for Real Madrid next year.
Los Blancos are reportedly keen on the 21-year-old as they look to overhaul their squad after a poor start to the season.
Werner has scored 11 goals in 18 appearances in all competitions this campaign and is believed to be on the radar of some of Europe's biggest clubs.
However, Rangnick has hit out at speculation claiming that the Germany international will be joining Zinedine Zidane's side in the near future.
"In winter nor in summer, we will keep Timo Werner with us," Rangnick, who recently signed a new contract at Leipzig, is quoted by FourFourTwo as saying.
"We are in intensive talks with his advisor. These (reports of the transfer in the Spanish media) are things I do not take seriously."
Werner has also been linked with Bayern Munich, who are currently failing to hit their usual heady heights in the Bundesliga with the lack of an alternative to Robert Lewandowski.
