Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has insisted that Keylor Navas will not be leaving the Bernabeu in this summer's transfer window.
Navas had reportedly informed Madrid that he wanted to leave the Bernabeu as he was not prepared to play second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois during the 2019-20 campaign.
Paris Saint-Germain were believed to be closing in on a move for the experienced goalkeeper, but Zidane has said that the 32-year-old has not asked to leave and will not be sold.
"I cannot imagine the team without Keylor Navas, I don't contemplate his exit," Marca quotes Zidane as saying. 'He has always been an important player for us."
"Keylor hasn't told me he wants to leave... he is happy here and wants to show that he can play here. He is a professional and I will count on him."
Navas, who has made 162 appearances for Madrid since a 2014 move from Levante, was on the bench for his team's La Liga opener against Celta Vigo last weekend.
