Rennes leave it late to overcome Marseille

Rennes score three minutes into stoppage time to beat Marseille 2-1 in the Coupe de la Ligue.

Philipp Hosiner struck three minutes into stoppage time as Rennes came back from a goal down to beat Marseille 2-1 in the Coupe de la Ligue this evening.

Michy Batshuayi opened the scoring for OM on 19 minutes before Anders Konradsen evened things up on the hour mark.

Shortly after the equaliser both teams had a player sent off as Paul-Georges Ntep and Brice Dja Djedje saw red.

The game seemed to be heading for extra time before Hosiner popped up with the winning goal deep into added-on time to send Rennes through.
