Fabio Borini wants permanent Roma move

Fabio Borini's agent reveals that the player wants to become a "100% Roma player".

Fabio Borini has said that he wants to become a "100% Roma player."

The former Chelsea striker signed a co-ownership deal with the Giallorossi earlier this month, after he impressed at Stadio Olimpico on an original season-long loan from Serie A rivals Parma.

The deal means that Parma retain a 50% stake in the player, but Roma now have more control over Borini's immediate playing future.

Borini's agent Marco De Marchi has made it clear where his client's allegiance lies.

De Marchi said: "He wants to stay in Rome. He's a joint ownership with Parma but, should it be up to him, he will be a 100% Roma player.

"He's young but also intelligent. He understood he had to put himself at the coach and at the group's disposal to play at his best."

De Marchi also praised former mentor Carlo Ancelotti for his role in Borini's development during his time in England.

He added: "When he was at Chelsea he found a second father in Carlo Ancelotti.

"He has been fundamental for his growth and for his career. He will never stop thanking him."

Borini has scored six goals in 14 Serie A games this season.
