Team News: Francesco Totti returns for Roma against Atalanta BC

Francesco Totti starts for the first time in a month as Roma welcome Atalanta BC to the Stadio Olimpico.

Roma manager Rudi Garcia has named Francesco Totti in the starting lineup for this afternoon's Serie A match against Atalanta BC.

The 37-year-old has been missing for the past month with a tendon injury, but is back to lead the attack, with Juan Iturbe and Adem Ljajic joining him in a forward trio.

Daniele De Rossi is suspended so Leandro Paredes comes into the midfield, while Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa returns to the defence in place of Vasilis Torosidis.

Atalanta also have a number of players ruled out and, with Mauricio Pinilla serving a ban, German Denis will start as a lone striker.

Roma: De Sanctis, Torosidis, Yanga-Mbiwa, Astori, Holebas, Paredes, Nainggolan, Florenzi, Ljajic, Iturbe, Totti

Atalanta: Sportiello, Stendardo, Gomez, Masiello, Baselli, Carmona, Estigarribia, Emanuelson, Benalouane, Dramer, Denis
