New Roma manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly set his sights on signing Torino forward Andrea Belotti, who is valued at £30m.
Belotti scored 13 goals and provided seven assists in 35 Serie A appearances for Torino last season and he has earned himself a place in the Italy squad for Euro 2020, which will be Belotti's first major international tournament.
The 27-year-old will be focused on his international duties over the next few weeks but he will need to consider his contractual situation with his club, as he only has one year remaining on his deal at the Stadio Grande Torino.
According to Goal, this summer presents the best opportunity for Belotti to leave Torino as the club will not want to lose the forward on a free transfer next year.
Torino are believed to want £30m for Belotti but Roma are initially expected to only offer a sum that does not exceed £20m.
However Mourinho's new club may hold negotiating power over Torino because of the short time left on Belotti's contract.
The Italian forward has scored 105 goals in 228 appearances for Torino since arriving at the club in 2015.
