Eric Hassli's goal in the fourth minute of injury time saw Vancouver Whitecaps record a 2-1 win over San Jose Earthquakes.

An injury-time winner from Eric Hassli saw Vancouver Whitecaps overcome San Jose Earthquakes 2-1 at BC Place.

The visitors went ahead after 15 minutes when Chris Wondoloski headed home from Marvin Chavez's cross.

Vancouver struck back just before the break from the head of Gershon Koffie, who rose highest to meet Camilo Sanvezzo's 40th-minute free kick.

The scores remained level until deep into injury time, when David Chiumiento set Hassli through to slot past Jon Busch.
