Serbia defender Aleksandar Kolarov has insisted that his side want to finish their World Cup qualification campaign on a high after missing out on a place in Brazil.
The Manchester City man scored a superb long-range effort as his country eased past Wales 3-0 in Cardiff on Tuesday.
With Serbia unable to obtain a place at next year's World Cup, Kolarov wants his country to go out with a bang in their final group match.
"We knew that it was going to be a really difficult game, but the two goals helped us and that made it easier for us in the second half," Kolarov told reporters.
"We hope that we're going to win our next game against Macedonia and finish qualification in the best way."
"We've had a couple of poor results at home so we knew that we are having a difficult moment because we have a very young team, so we hope the qualification campaign for the next European Championship [in 2016] will be much better."
Serbia host Macedonia in their final Group A match next month.
