Sevilla president Jose Castro is confident that head coach Unai Emery will sign a new long-term deal with the Spanish club.
Emery, 43, took charge of Sevilla in 2013 and led the club to the Europa League title last season.
This season, Sevilla are in the quarter-finals of the Europa League and currently sit fifth in La Liga, just four points off the top four.
It is understood that a number of European clubs are monitoring Emery's contract situation at the Estadio Ramon, but Castro believes that a new deal will soon be agreed.
"We want to improve his contract and we're talking, with plenty of willingness on both sides. Hopefully a new deal will be agreed soon, although there's neither any rush, or any concern," Castro has been quoted as saying by Inside Spanish Football.
Emery has previously managed Lorca Deportiva, Almeria, Valencia and Spartak Moscow.
