Sheffield United sack manager David Weir

Sheffield United sack manager David Weir after 10 League One games in charge.

David Weir has reportedly been sacked as manager of Sheffield United following just 10 league fixtures in charge.

The League One outfit have decided to call time on the 43-year-old's career at Bramall Lane following nine games without a win - securing two draws and suffering seven defeats.

It is understood that Chris Morgan will take charge of the first team against Coventry City on Sunday following Weir's exit, according to Sky Sports News.

The Blades, who gave Weir his first managerial job, currently sit third from bottom in the table on just five points.
