Southampton academy product Harrison Reed has signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract at St Mary's.
The 21-year-old, who is now committed to the Saints until the summer of 2021, has made 25 first-team appearances for the south coast club, including four in all competitions this season.
Reed has revealed his 'delight' after penning the fresh deal and he is now keen to cement a spot in Claude Puel's first XI on a regular basis.
"Obviously I am absolutely over the moon to commit my future to this club. It's what I've been working towards for the last three to four years, so I am really pleased," Reed told the club's official website.
"It's been full of a lot of ups and downs, but obviously I am absolutely delighted to be signing at this club. I am just looking to push on from here.
"I know this is the right place for me, you see it time after time that young players get the opportunities here. They progress on the pitch and get better as players and that's what I want to do."
Reed broke into the Southampton first team during the 2013-14 campaign.
