Tim Sherwood tells Tottenham Hotspur to forget Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk for now

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Tim Sherwood urges his team to forget about their Europa League tie with Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk until after today's clash at Norwich City.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Tim Sherwood has urged his team to forget about their Europa League tie with Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk until after today's Premier League clash at Norwich City.

Spurs face an uphill struggle to reach the last 16 of the competition following Thursday's 1-0 first-leg defeat in Ukraine.

However, the North Londoners should go into the game at Carrow Road full of confidence, as they boast the best away record in England's top flight this season, having taken 29 points from a possible 39.

"We have to put Dnipro out of our minds, put it to bed until next week and it's important we get the three points at Norwich," Sherwood told Tottenham's official website.

"We've been good away from home and we're pleased with our form on the road. Norwich have taken some big scalps at Carrow Road and we're fully aware of that.

"We need to go there in a positive frame of mind and maintain our run."

Spurs beat Norwich 2-0 earlier this season, but that was the Canaries' only defeat in their last five meetings with the White Hart Lane outfit.
