Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino plays down fears of Dele Alli injury

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino plays down injury fears surrounding Dele Alli after the youngster was brought off at half time of their win over Norwich.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has played down concerns that Dele Alli has an injury, despite the young midfielder being substituted at half time of Tuesday night's win over Norwich City.

The 19-year-old was replaced with Nacer Chadli before the start of the second half in Spurs' 3-0 triumph at Carrow Road.

Alli scored his seventh goal of the season inside the first two minutes of the game, and Harry Kane netted twice - once from the penalty spot - to earn a victory for the team.

After the match, Pochettino confirmed to the club's official Twitter page that Alli is not injured and was only brought off because he felt unwell.

Spurs have moved up to third in the Premier League table, but remain five points off leaders Leicester City.
