Ryan Mason to miss West Bromwich Albion game

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino confirms that Ryan Mason will miss Saturday's game against West Bromwich Albion due to an ankle injury.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Ryan Mason will miss the trip to West Bromwich Albion due to an ankle injury.

Mason was forced off in the goalless draw with Chelsea last weekend after only recently returning from a knee problem.

Despite refusing to set a return date for the England international, Pochettino revealed that he would not have the midfielder available when his side meet West Brom on Saturday.

"Ryan is out, he has an ankle injury and we hope it's not a big issue," the Spurs boss told the club's website.

Mason is likely to be replaced by Dele Alli, who is available after serving a one-game suspension.
