Dimitar Berbatov to play in Ledley King's testimonial

Dimitar Berbatov will play for Ledley King Guest XI in the former captain's testimonial on May 12.

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov will play up front for Ledley King Guest XI for the ex-captain's testimonial match on May 12 at White Hart Lane.

Berbatov, who left Spurs for Manchester United in 2008, said that he is looking forward to meeting up with some old teammates and promised a night of entertainment for the fans.

"I am really looking forward to returning to White Hart Lane to play in Ledley's testimonial," Berbatov told Tottenham's official website.

"It is a fitting tribute for a great player and I can't wait to meet up with some of the past and present players. It should be a great night not just for Ledley but for the fans too."

Berbatov, who now plays for Monaco, scored 46 goals in 103 games in all competitions in his time at Spurs.
