Nacer Chadli has expressed his belief that speculation linking Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane to Manchester United is to be expected after his teammate's goal-laden season.
Kane, 21, has enjoyed a fine breakthrough season at White Hart Lane, becoming the first Spurs player since Gary Lineker to reach the 30-goal barrier in all competitions.
Consequently, speculation mounted last week that the Red Devils were weighing up a £40m summer move, and Chadli says that it is no surprise given the youngster's goalscoring exploits.
"I'm not surprised because he's a big talent," he told reporters.
"He's scored 30 goals or more this season so he's proved himself in the Premier League and at international level, so it's normal that big clubs want to get him.
"He's still young, Harry, and I think it's not a decision for me to take. He's an adult and he's big enough to take his decisions. He still has a long contract with Spurs so we'll see [what happens]."
Kane won PFA Young Player of the Year this season, and lost out to Eden Hazard for the senior award.
