Emmanuel Adebayor focused on top four

Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor says that his side must stay focused on finishing in the top four after their 4-0 win over Newcastle United on Wednesday.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor was pleased with his side's 4-0 win over Newcastle United on Wednesday, but said that they must focus on finishing in the top four come the end of the season.

The Togolese scored a brace in the win, with Paulinho and Nacer Chadli adding the other two.

He told Sky Sports News: "Lets keep it simple. We win two games in a row and everybody talks about how we're going to win the league.

"Our target is to finish in the top four. Today is a good result for us, but we just have to go home, recover and prepare for the game against Norwich."

The result leaves Tottenham fifth, three points behind fourth-placed Liverpool.
