Iago Falque has admitted that he has been frustrated by his lack of first-team opportunities for Rayo Vallecano in recent weeks.
However, the attacker, who is currently on loan in Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur, has vowed to impress boss Paco Jemez in the coming weeks.
"I played the cup game against Levante and a few minutes of the game against Atletico. Little by little I'm getting better and that's my aim, to give a little more each time and with much more desire," he told reporters at a press conference.
"I went five weeks without playing in La Liga, I had opportunities in the Copa del Rey, I'm keen to get more and show the manager that he can count on me."
As it stands, Falque is due to return to Spurs at the end of the season.
