Newcastle United keeper Tim Krul has revealed that he and his teammates are confident of getting a positive result in their game with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Magpies bounced back from their derby defeat to Sunderland with a 2-0 win over Chelsea at St James' Park last week, which the Dutchman feels has given his side belief.
Krul told the club's official website: "We are going to Tottenham with a lot of confidence. It will be a hard game, we know that, but if we can beat Chelsea then why can't we go there and get something?
"They don't have [Gareth] Bale any more but they signed a lot of players over the summer and have a quality squad.
"Defensively they have been really strong but we have looked good going forward this season and we know we can cause them problems."
Newcastle are ninth in the Premier League.
