Kyle Naughton facing spell on sidelines?

An ankle injury may reportedly sideline Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kyle Naughton until 2015.

Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kyle Naughton could reportedly miss the rest of the year with an ankle injury.

The 25-year-old suffered the complaint during yesterday's 1-0 victory over Southampton.

He left White Hart Lane on crutches and with his right foot in a protective boot, with a scan expected to take place today.

Should the problem be as bad as first feared by the Spurs coaching staff, the defender would not return to action until 2015, according to the London Evening Standard.

Naughton picked up a similar injury two years ago, which sidelined him for a number of months.
