Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp says that his team must focus on their upcoming fixtures following the Fabrice Muamba incident.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has urged his players to resume focus on the club's Premier League campaign following the shocking incident involving Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba.

The Spurs team were forced to witness the 23-year-old former England Under-21 collapse on the pitch after suffering a cardiac arrest at White Hart Lane during the two sides' FA Cup quarter-final match, which was later abandoned.

"It was traumatic for everyone, but the lads were back in training yesterday morning and we have a big week coming ahead now so we have to go again now," said Redknapp.

"We have Stoke on Wednesday and have Chelsea at the weekend so we have to make sure we are ready for those two games.

"They are so important for us. We are trying to get Champions League football and they are two massive games for us that we really need to be ready for and we will be ready."

Spurs sit in third place of the table, just one point above arch rivals Arsenal.
