Danny Rose: 'European football is our target'

Danny Rose insists that Tottenham Hotspur are determined to qualify for next season's Europa League.

Tottenham Hotspur's Danny Rose has insisted that his side are determined to finish the season strongly and secure a place in next season's Europa League.

The 24-year-old scored his side's second in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Hull City, and also unveiled a new bright red hair style.

"The hair is a mid-life crisis I think," Rose told Sky Sports News.

"Ryan Mason did brilliantly to find me, I've not caught it as sweet as I like but it went in. We needed that win massively. We needed that three points to help get Euopean football. We want a positive end to the season."

The result leaves Spurs in sixth place in the Premier League table, one point above Southampton with just one game of the season remaining.
