South Korean forward Son Heung-min believes that Tottenham Hotspur's 4-0 win over Crystal Palace is a reminder of the strength of Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Son Heung-min believes that Tottenham Hotspur's emphatic win over Crystal Palace is a reminder of the strength of Mauricio Pochettino's side.

The South Korean forward netted twice in the 4-0 home victory over Roy Hodgson's men, with Erik Lamela and a Patrick van Aanholt own goal completing the first-half rout.

After the comfortable victory, Son said that his teammates should be encouraged by the quality of their performance and be reminded of their capabilities as a squad.

"I think we should play like this always, and perform like this always, we have to try like this and we're really, really happy to get three points," Son said after the game.

"This is a reminder of how strong we are. The players should know how strong we are and how we should play. I hope we can learn so many things about this game and we can perform always like this and this season will be really, really positive."

Tottenham face Olympiacos away from home next in Champions League action, before a trip to face Leicester City in the Premier League.
