Preview: Aston Villa vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs travel to the West Midlands this weekend to face Aston Villa, with both teams in need of the points for different reasons. Here, Sports Mole previews the clash.

Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur meet at Villa Park on Sunday in a match that could have implications at both ends of the Premier League table.

Alex McLeish's struggling hosts have been dragged into a relegation battle after poor recent form and are still not guaranteed their top-flight saftey.

Meanwhile, Spurs will be looking to make it three straight wins and boost their hopes of Champions League qualification.

Harry Redknapp is hoping to welcome back Scott Parker after the midfielder missed the last two games with a Achilles problem, with Brazilian Sandro on standby.

Kyle Walker will definitely play, but will do with the assistance of an injection after breaking his toe.

Villa trio James Collins, Fabien Delph and Chris Herd were disciplined after an incident in a nightclub this week, but will be available for selection.
