Super agent Jorge Mendes is reportedly pushing for Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo to take over at Tottenham Hotspur.
Nuno is one of a number of names supposedly in the frame to succeed Jose Mourinho, who was sacked last Monday after less than 18 months in charge.
According to The Sun, Mendes is working closely with his compatriot to ensure that he remains in strong contention to become Tottenham's next manager.
The 47-year-old signed a contract extension with Wolves in September that runs through until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
Ajax head coach Erik ten Hag is rumoured to be the frontrunner to replace Mourinho, with a meeting between the two parties believed to have been arranged.
