Tottenham Hotspur winger Erik Lamela could be the subject of a bid from Italian giants AC Milan when the transfer window opens in January, according to reports.

Serie A giants AC Milan are preparing a January move for Tottenham Hotspur winger Erik Lamela, according to reports.

The Argentine moved to White Hart Lane from Roma in the summer of 2013 for a club-record fee and has scored two goals and set up three more in all competitions so far this season.

According to CalcioMercatoWeb, Milan CEO Marco Fassone and sporting director Massimo Mirabelli were in London this week to open talks over a potential transfer.

Lamela's Spurs contract runs until the summer of 2020.
